While Camilla Belle admits that the plot of 'Push' is 'very confusing', her co-star, Djimon Hounsou, recalls on what he has to do when dealing with the twists and turns of the film.

AceShowbiz - As "Push" is counting down to its theatrical release in February, two of the sci-fi thriller stars, Camilla Belle and Djimon Hounsou open up about the upcoming movie from director Paul McGuigan. In a group interview held over the weekend in Los Angeles, the two discuss on the twisting plot of the movie as well as their experiences working for it.
Addressing the question about the complex storylines of "Push", Belle admits that she herself has trouble keeping up with the plot. "I remember a few moments where we all sat down and said, 'What happens? Where are we supposed to be going now?'" the 22-year-old actress fesses up, as quoted by Sci Fi Wire. "The plot itself is very confusing," she added. "We still don't understand exactly what happened."
Still in regards of what to do when dealing with the twists and turns of the plot, Belle's co-star, Hounsou, makes comments in similar tone, insisting "You do have to surrender". The two-time Academy Award-nominated then continues, explaining "At that point it's all hell for the director. I can't keep up with where you are at all times. As an actor, you become too analytical about the story."
On the occasion, Belle also talks about performing the action scenes. "What I loved about the fight scene was it wasn't martial arts or anything I'd do with formal training," Belle gushes. "We had a week and a half of training. It was more about choreography. When you get to the day, it's all about muscle memory. It's just in your body and hopefully you don't hit a person in the head too many times."
Meanwhile, Hounsou speaks about what he thinks of playing bad guy. "I've never played a bad guy," Hounsou reveals. "This was nice. It's one of the reasons [I chose this], but the most important reason was the theme of the story, to tap into that cult world that most of us are doubtful about and whether our government is actually utilizing that stuff. That was my attraction to the story."
On their experiences shooting in Hong Kong, Hounsou recalls, "It's so crowded. I was in shock the way they pass each other in that city. People bump into you hard and don't even turn around or say sorry. You better just keep on going. Nobody has time to fight you. It's so overwhelming." Belle further adds, "We had one scene where I get grabbed by [Hounsou]'s two agents. I wish I had seen some of the reactions [of passers-by]. I was in the scene, so I couldn't see it, but I heard that some people stopped and freaked out. Other people just kept going and couldn't care less."
Starring Chris Evans and Dakota Fanning as well as Camilla Belle and Djimon Hounsou, "Push" revolves around Nick Gant, a man with telekinetic ability. It follows him as he teams up with a young watcher Cassie Holmes in his attempt to escape the hounding of a clandestine U.S. government agency, the Division and finds Kira Hudson, an escaped "pusher" who may hold the key to ending the Division's program. The film will open in U.S. theaters on February 6.
