Video: Cast Speaking of 'Chuck' Special 3-D Episode

Zachary Levi and Yvonne Strahovski share their experience filming the 3-D version of 'Chuck' that airs February 2.

AceShowbiz - A special edition of "Chuck" will be broadcast on February 2, and an introduction from the cast of what's so special about it has been released. Zachary Levi and Yvonne Strahovski express their enthusiasm of the first 3D episode of the series, and so does guest star Dominic Monaghan who plays a rock star.

Creator Josh Schwartz said, "The technology is pretty amazing, and the stuff we were able to shoot - all the mind flashes are going to be in 3D and the opening credits, as well as the action set pieces." He added that there could be scenes of Sarah scantily clad and Mike eating a donut, all in 3D.

Called "Chuck Versus the Third Dimension", the episode chronicle Chuck's attempt in protecting international rock star Tyler Martin from being killed. However, Martin proves to be one to handle for he asks Chuck for a night out which leads to a lot of troubles. Meanwhile, Morgan wins a pair of backstage passes to Tyler's show and holds a contest among his fellow employees, including Big Mike's old football friend Jimmy, to see who gets to be his lucky plus one.

The 3D episode is part of NBC's Monstrous 3D event where a special 3D trailer of the upcoming animated movie "Monsters vs. Aliens" will be played before the half time of Super Bowl XLIII on February 1 and a commercial for SoBe life water which is equally presented in the special format. 3D Glasses are distributed for free at the retailers put on SoBe displays.
