Meeting Barack Obama's daughters, Malia and Sasha, for the very first time backstage at "The Ellen DeGeneres Show", Nick Jonas says the girls are "very sweet".

AceShowbiz - Making no attempt to hide his excitement as he and his brothers, Kevin Jonas and Joe Jonas, are about to perform at "Kids' Inaugural: We Are The Future", scheduled to take place on January 19 at the Verizon Center, Nick Jonas revealed one day he wants to become a president and he's been thinking about that since he was merely 7 years old. "We're just really pumped to be there with such a historical inauguration," he went on gushing about Jonas Brothers becoming one of the performers at the momentous event.

Nick, Joe, and Kevin are all set to perform their hit singles, "Lovebug" and "Burnin' Up", which are particular favorites of Barack Obama's daughters, Malia and Sasha. Speaking about the twosome, Nick told the press at a Television Critics Association panel for their Disney show "J.O.N.A.S!" on Friday, January 16, they are "very sweet girls."

"We met 'em when we were on 'Ellen.' And it was before he became the president-elect. So we'll see them again now and give them a big 'Congratulations,'" Nick recalled on his, Kevin, and Joe's first meeting with Malia and Sasha during a taping for "The Ellen DeGeneres Show". "We walked into a room, and they were playing ping pong. They didn't know we were there -- they were very excited. It was really cool to meet them after hearing that they'd been fans." Nick also added that he and his famous brothers joined Malia and Sasha playing ping-pong.

Jonas Brothers will join the likes of Usher, Billy Ray Cyrus and Bow Wow for the highly anticipated "Kids' Inaugural: We Are The Future". The inauguration concert, held to honor military families, will be hosted by Michelle Obama alongside Jill Biden.
