"I'm honored to be a part of the Playboy legacy and look forward to my March cover hitting newsstands on February 13," Aubrey O'Day confirms in a statement.

AceShowbiz - The mounting rumors of Aubrey O'Day doing a photo shoot for Playboy are true as the songbird confirms exclusively to US Weekly she's "honored to be a part of the Playboy legacy." She, furthermore, adds to be looking forward for her "March cover hitting newsstands on February 13."

Aubrey O'Day's confirmation of her posing for Playboy's upcoming issue marks the first time ever that she addresses the much-talked issue. In late November last year, TMZ broke the report that the former Danity Kane member was seen doing a nude photo shoot for Playboy with celebrity photographer Markus Klinko in a Manhattan photo studio. The site, moreover, also claimed "there may be cats involved in the shoot."

Then again earlier this month, a claim was brought to public's notice by New York's Daily News that Aubrey has received half a million dollars to shed her clothes for the March issue of Playboy. "Aubrey's making about $500,000 to drop trou. For that kind of money, she was like 'Why not?'" the site cited a source as saying.

Exclusively confirming her photo spread for Playboy's March issue, Aubrey doesn't give US Weekly any details about her pose though.
