AceShowbiz - Report claiming Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady are engaged has resurfaced following family and friends' denial over previous claim that the pair got engaged on Christmas Eve. According to People, Tom, 31, proposed to Gisele, 28, with a diamond solitaire on Friday, January 9 in Los Angeles.
"He asked and she accepted," a source close to the couple says. "The couple is discussing a huge fashionista event in the spring or a more intimate and quicker ceremony in Costa Rica, where Gisele has a home."
Gisele and Tom, still according to People, informed their family and friends about their engagement over the weekend. "An official announcement, as well as preliminary wedding details, are being planned by Bundchen and her closest friends this week," the publication claims.
Back in December last year, report arose that Tom Brady proposed to Gisele Bundchen on Christmas Eve on a private jet from New Jersey's Teterboro Airport to Boston. The New England Patriots quarterback was claimed to have the private jet decked out with four dozen of white roses and champagne. The engagement report, nevertheless, was denied by Gisele's father, who insisted his daughter had yet to inform the family of the impending nuptials.
Asked about Tom and Gisele's January engagement, her agent has refused to confirm or deny the report, saying, "We don't comment on our clients' private lives."
