First Images of 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' Released

Empire magazine posts several first looks into the 'Transformers' sequel, showing also an on-set photo in Cairo.

AceShowbiz - Empire magazine has run a cover story of 2009 Must See Movies and among its selection is the highly-anticipated "Transformers" sequel, "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen". Attached to the article of the the movie, are three new exclusive images that show two scenes from the movie and an on-set photo.

The first one is on Shia LaBeouf as Sam Witwicky, running with Megan Fox's Mikaela Banes to hinder some kind of explosion in a battle. The second one is a man holding to his dear life on a pole with cars flying above him. Meanwhile, the third one is an on-set photo that shows a shooting in Cairo, Egypt where Empire also made an exclusive set visit report.

"Revenge of the Fallen" that will come out in theaters on June 26, 2008, is getting its exposure on USA Today too. The site gives an overall action that Sam and Mikaela will face in the sequel, through an interview with the two depicters. Known fact is, the Decepticons will have to capture Sam because he learns about the origins of the Transformers and its ancient history on earth. "I've got 75 military officers firing at me, and I have shrapnel falling on my head that's bigger than my arms. It's hard to be normal," LaBeouf said on his running scene.

USA Today also points out the new robots that will invade the film. They are "Decepticons Soundwave, a fearsome communications expert, and Devastator, whose arms and legs are built out of other Transformers. And on the Autobots' side is Jetfire, a villain whose age and broken-down physicality leads him to help the Autobots."
