A Disney Channel original series, 'Sonny with a Chance' introduces Demi Lovato as the titular character who got a shot at fame.

AceShowbiz - Two new promos of Disney Channel's original series, "Sonny with a Chance", have been released. The footages contain scenes from the TV movie starring Demi Lovato, plus the introduction to the lead character, Sonny.
Sonny, a talented Midwestern girl, has won a nationwide talent search to move to Los Angeles and star in a popular television series. Sonny's home and work life is documented along with her adjustment to life in the spotlight.
Set to be aired on February 27, this would be the second series where Demi appears as the main cast. She previously made her name through Disney Channel's "Camp Rock" that also featured Jonas Brothers.
The cast of "Sony with a Chance" appeared on Demi Lovato's newly-released music video "La La Land".
