AceShowbiz - Trying her best to quash rumors of her dating one of the Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato tells Seventeen's prom/winter special issue, "I even put on my glasses and wear sweatpants around them." Of that she explains, "because you wouldn't put makeup on for just your brothers."
The Disney teen queen insists her friendship with the threesome as platonic, claiming "We're all friends. But they're not the type of guys that I'd be into dating - or else I'd be dating one!" Getting together with Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Nick Jonas in some occasions due to their work commitment, Demi tends to consider them simply as "brothers", nothing more.
Having close bonds to each of the siblings, Demi however feels closest to Joe. "I can definitely call Joe a best friend," so she reveals. "On one of the first nights of filming Camp Rock, we sat there and spilled everything, and I talked about how I was bullied in school when I was younger. It was emotional, but it brought us close. I'm able to go to all of them with my problems."
On her other best friend, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato tells Seventeen, "I can totally go to her with any problem and she will not judge me, no matter what. I can trust her with anything, and she can trust me. We'll definitely take each others' secrets to the grave."
About what makes her and Selena remain close, Demi says, "I'll meet other actors who are like, 'Let's go to a party'. But Selena and I would rather rent a horror movie and just eat pickles. That's our ideal sleepover. ... It's just crazy to realize that Selena and I have known each other almost our entire lives."
