Over 100 shows and many laughters after, Amy Poehler took her last bow on "Saturday Night Live" (SNL) on December 13. Her final episode on the variety show, was cracked first with her appearance alongside fellow "Weekend Update" host, Seth Myers, in a skit of "Really?! With Seth and Amy".

Several other "SNL" stars also came by the studio to have some sketches, including Maya Rudolph who did a "Bronx Beat" with Poehler and Fred Armisen who appeared in the middle of Poehler's skit as the visually-impaired New York Government, David Patterson. The episode was hosted by "House M.D." star Hugh Laurie and featured a musical performance by Kanye West.

Poehler came to a goodbye bid during the last minutes of "Weekend Update" when she said, "This is my last show. Being able to do over 140 shows with my friends and my family has been a dream come true. I just wanted to say good-bye. I love you, and I will miss all of you very much."

Her departure from the show has been hinted by the actress herself when she was still carrying her baby. She said that she planned to leave the show after giving birth in October, in order to concentrate on a new NBC show. No news yet on the title of the show but it will be debuted sometime next year.
