Talking to BET's "106 & Park", Brandy says she won't live in regret for causing a woman's death in a car crash in December 2006, rather she optimistically sees into her future.

AceShowbiz - Singer Brandy opens up to BET's "106 & Park" all about her feeling getting through the difficult time after being involved in a fatal car crash two years ago that killed one woman. Beside revealing her pain and regret, she also shares her future goal now that she has come back into music business.

"I don't really know how to say it, because I don't like to talk about it much," so she says when referring to the tragedy that she claims as a "life-changing" experience for her. "It was one of the hardest times in my life. I wouldn't wish that experience on anyone."

"I didn't really know what to do. I didn't have a deal. I was just kind of, in limbo, but it was funny because that journey without music was very lonely," Brandy recalls her days following the crash when many people blamed her for causing the death of the victim, identified as Awatef Aboudihaj.

"Some of the things that people said about me was also very very tough. ... I still feel the effects of that. It was a tough experience, and I don't think that's something that I could ever forget," she says, adding that "There were moments when I felt like I should have been on the stage."

Despite her pain and regret, Brandy manages to stand still and focus on her future, stating "I make mistakes but I can't turn back time, I'm only human, forgive me." She continues, "I don't want to live my life in vain. That is the most important thing ... not just to be here to be here."

Brandy, in the meantime, is having a new album, which is her fifth, titled "Human" hit U.S. market Tuesday, December 9.
