'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button' Hits Los Angeles for Premiere

The L.A. special screening event for traveler tale 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button' sees celebrities from the film's stars Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett to guests Tyrese Gibson and Jennifer Lopez.

AceShowbiz - In anticipation of its theatrical release in late December, "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" has been brought to Los Angeles for its premiere event. The special screening gala was held on Mann's Village Theater in L.A. on Monday, December 8, evening and saw the streaming in of many Hollywood celebrities.

Several of the movie's stars attending the event included Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchett, Julia Ormond, Tilda Swinton and Jason Flemyng. Furthermore, President of Warner Bros. Alan Horn and CEO of Paramount Pictures Brad Grey were seen joining director David Fincher and producer Frank Marshall on the special evening.

Other than those involved in the movie, celebrity guests, Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lopez, Eva Longoria, Tyrese Gibson, Emma Roberts, Gary Oldman, Jacqueline Bisset, Maria Menounos, Sanaa Lathan, Sharon Stone, Sumner Redstone and Taraji Henson, have also been spotted coming to the event.

A time traveler's tale, "Benjamin Button" is set in New Orleans from the end of World War I in 1918 to the 21st century. It follows the titular character as he travels the world meeting people along the way, finding love and losing it, and learning about the joys of life, the sadness of death and what lasts beyond time. The Paramount Pictures drama is set for December 25 U.S. release.
