Through will.i.am, it is revealed that Black Eyed Peas' upcoming studio album 'The E.N.D (The Energy Never Dies)' is plotted to be a 'music diary'.

AceShowbiz - In an interview, Black Eyed Peas' member will.i.am reveals that he plans to make the band's upcoming LP "The E.N.D (The Energy Never Dies)" as a "music diary." He tells Billboard, "It's a diary ... of music that at any given time, depending on the inspiration, you can add to it."

"When it comes out, there'll be 12 songs on it, but the next day there could be 100 songs, 50 sketches, 1,000 blogs all (online) around 'The End' so the energy really, truly never dies," will.i.am explains further. "I'm trying to break away from the concept of an album. What is an album when you put 12 songs on iTunes and people can pick at it like scabs? That's not an album. There is no album anymore."

On the sounds plotted to be carried by the band's forthcoming record, will.i.am states that it will contain "a lot of dance stuff, real melodic, electronic, soulful" music. Unfortunately, there hasn't been any release date as well as guest star set for the effort.

Apart from sharing plans for the new album, will.i.am also unveils about their upcoming tour. Stating that it will be kicked off either in May or June 2009, he says that Fergie a.k.a Stacy Ferguson wants their show "to be f***in' ridiculous this time." She says as quoted by him, "We need to put together a monster show. So I'm gonna hold her to that and we're gonna follow her lead and really knock 'em out."

Previously, will.i.am said that he had no intention to rush "The E.N.D (The Energy Never Dies)". However, he admitted that he is tempted to release the record in 2008 because he's convinced that this year will be the final year where physical sales are significant.
