Certified 'Punisher: War Zone' Posters Offered for Charitable Auctions

Lionsgate Films have held eBay charitable auctions for 'Punisher: War Zone' posters, benefiting The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.

AceShowbiz - As "Punisher: War Zone" hits U.S. theaters, fans and collectors are given the chance to win authentic prize from the action drama film. On December 6, Lionsgate Films announced that they are holding eBay charitable auctions, bidding up five exclusive posters from the Lexi Alexander-directed film.

While the winners will get studio certified posters signed by the film's star Ray Stevenson along with a hand-signed letter from a Lionsgate executive verifying their authenticity, all of the proceeds will benefit The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Hopeful can join the bidding which will end on December 12 at 13:20 PST through eBay.

To be differentiated from the 2004's "The Punisher", "Punisher: War Zone" is a new adaptation of the Marvel's character by director Lexi Alexander and a team of writers, Nick Santora, Kurt Sutter, Matt Holloway and Art Marcum. Starring Ray Stevenson as Frank Castle, it follows the story of the ruthless vigilante right from the beginning when he sets sight on overeager mob boss Billy Russoti. The film has come out in the U.S. big screen starting on Friday, December 5.
