Madonna Postponed Argentina Gigs Due to Equipments Late Arrival

Madonna's two 'Sticky and Sweet' tour dates have been re-scheduled because the equipments and wardrobes that she needs for the concerts arrived late.

AceShowbiz - Madonna was forced to postpone her live concerts in Argentina, citing unforeseen technical difficulties as the cause. "Madonna's producers told (River Plate Club) management that Wednesday's show has been suspended," an official from the local company Time 4 Fun told AFP.

In further explanation, the club official revealed that sound equipments and wardrobes needed for the event didn't arrive in time due to flight delay. "And [Madonna] asked it be moved to next Monday, because some of her equipment and wardrobe have not arrived," so the official stated.

Madonna was supposed to kick off her "Sticky & Sweet" tour in the country on December 3 taking place at River Plate Stadium. Following the gig postponing, she will re-schedule the gig and another Argentina shows on December 6 to other dates.

Madonna's makeup dates following the delay of December-3 show:

  • Fans holding tickets for Wednesday, December 3 will attend the show on Friday, December 5.
  • Fans holding tickets for Thursday, December 4 will attend the show on Thursday, December 4.
  • Fans holding tickets for Saturday, December 6 will attend the show on Monday, December 8.
  • Fans holding tickets for Sunday, December 7 will attend the show on Sunday, December 7.
