Following cancellation of Lil Wayne's re-scheduled date on December-6 in Blue Cross Arena, the concert promoter provides full refunds for those purchasing the tickets for the gig.

AceShowbiz - New York state Attorney General Andrew M. Cuomo announced that full refunds will be given for fans purchasing Lil Wayne's tickets for October-26 concert which had been re-scheduled for December-6 but later was once again canceled, giving fans no clue on the makeup date. "Both Blue Cross Arena and Lil Wayne's promoters are doing the right thing by refunding Rochester-area fans who purchased tickets to a performance that never took place," he said.
Concertgoers seeking refunds are required to return their tickets to Blue Cross Arena box office on or before December 10. Meanwhile, those buying the tickets through Ticketmaster must contact the online ticket retailer directly for the full refund.
Wayne was forced to postpone the re-scheduled date on December 6 because it clashes with his rehearsal time in anticipation of his upcoming U.S. tour. "Wayne offered the promoter, Ed Strickland, another date without penalty. Due to mandatory tour rehearsal for his upcoming 'I Am Music' tour the date had to be postponed again," Myiah Hughes, a spokesperson for the rapper explained.
Despite twice postponing, Strickland is still "hoping to get a call any minute" from Wayne's management team. On the makeup date possibility, he added, "We're going to start fresh, with all new tickets. I'm thinking of the people."
Lil Wayne's "I Am Music" tour will be kicked off on December 14 at American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida. It will continue with at least ten scheduled shows in December 2008 and two dates in January 2009. Some of the gigs will also be supported by guest appearances from Keyshia Cole, T-Pain, Gym Class Heroes, and Keri Hilson. They will rock out Lil Wayne's performances in Houston, Dallas, Oakland, Detroit, and Atlanta.
