Selena told US Weekly at the CNN Heroes event at L.A.'s Kodak Theatre Saturday, November 22, "He's going to be so well dressed" when referring to baby Bronx, whose singer parents also embark on clothing designing career. "They're going to have the cutest punk rock kid ever!" the Disney star added.
As for Christina, she actually didn't know that Ashlee has given birth. "Oh, did they give birth? Oh, how exciting! Congratulations," the singer and mother of one told MTV News on Sunday, November 23, after her performance at the 36th annual American Music Awards. "I give my best. They're about to be on the ride of their life. It's just the most amazing thing you could ever experience," she continued.
Ashlee Simpson gave birth to son, Bronx Mowgli Wentz, last Thursday, November 20 following reports that she was in labor at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. A representative for the family confirmed to People at that time, parents and infant "are all healthy and happy" and Ashlee and Pete "thank everyone for their well wishes!"
Ashlee's sister Jessica Simpson told the press she was "over the moon with joy" with her newborn nephew, adding "Bronx is beyond precious."
