Tim Blake Nelson Excited to Battle Hulk in 'Hulk 2'
Movie

With or without Edward Norton playing as Hulk, Tim Blake Nelson is willing to battle the green superhero character as The Leader in the sequel of 'The Incredible Hulk'.

AceShowbiz - Tim Blake Nelson reached out to MTV, sharing his excitement concerning Gale Anne Hurd's plan to have him playing the next Hulk's villain, The Leader, in the sequel of Edward Norton-starring movie "The Incredible Hulk". He said, "I know Gale Ann was talking to you guys about that recently, and I liked hearing it."

Nelson also revealed that he and Norton have sat together discussing their blockbuster experience during the filming of dramedy "Leaves of Grass", where he also plays alongside Norton. "We talked about ['Hulk'] a little bit, yeah; we made some jokes about it. It's all good, and I really do hope [the sequel] happens, for all sorts of reasons. But yeah, we did, we had a great time on 'Hulk' together. I'm eager to do 'Hulk 2' if they make it," he recalled.

"Well, I'm signed on to do 'Hulk 2' and '3' whether Edward's there or not, so it's not even up to me," Nelson explained further. "When I agreed to do 'Hulk' I signed off for two sequels, so it's a moot question. I certainly hope Edward is on the sequel - but that's up to Marvel and Edward." Admitting that they have been "well-suited for one another", Nelson added, "It's really fun collaborating with him, and he made these characters [in 'Hulk' and 'Leaves'] better."

In a further statement, Nelson continued saying that he has been doing some research in anticipation for his role as The Leader. "I already did [research into The Leader] when I was doing [Dr. Samuel] Sterns, because I felt that it would be helpful to lay in stuff as Sterns for what The Leader would be," he shared. "So, that was all part of doing Sterns."
