Losing from Barack Obama, John McCain reveals his feeling and what he's been up to including how proud he is of Sarah Palin in 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno'.

AceShowbiz - Defeated but not wounded, John McCain showed up on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Tuesday, November 11, his first public appearance after the election where he loses from Barack Obama. Among the things that the Republican senator talked about, was his running mate, Sarah Palin whom he expects to "play a big role in the future of this country."

Stepping in to the limelight, McCain said that he's been "sleeping like a baby" since the election wrapped up last week. He joked, "Sleep two hours, wake up and cry." He then went on telling about the state he represents, Arizona.

McCain began speaking about Palin in the second clip where he denied that Palin's reputation in public has hurt his campaign, saying "I'm so proud of her and very grateful that she agreed to run with me. She inspired people. She still does. I couldn't be happier with Sarah Palin, and she's gone back to be a great governor, and I think she will play a big role in the future of this country."

In the third clip, McCain touched the issue of Obama with him declaring his belief of the Democrat candidate on taking diplomatic steps concerning the war in Iraq. Leno also asked him whether he will run for another presidential election and McCain answered, "I wouldn't think so, my friend. .... we're going to have another generation of leaders coming along."
