FOX Announces Its Midseason TV Schedule

'American Idol' upcoming eight season is premiered in January, tailed by the shift schedule of some other series like 'House M.D' and 'Bones'.

AceShowbiz - FOX have released the schedule for their midseason primetime TV line-up. Some shows Like "House M.D." and "Bones" are shifted to another night while others such as "24" and "American Idol" welcome their new seasons.

The network has set two-hour installments on January 13 and 14 for "American Idol" eight season premiere. After that, the reality competition show will get its regular airdate for one-hour time periods on Tuesdays at 8/7c and Wednesdays at 8/7c, the following week.

Caused by "American Idol" Tuesday schedule, "House M.D." will move to Mondays at 8/7c starting January 19, continued with "24." "Bones" will also be on the move in effect of the "American Idol" Wednesday schedule, airing every Thursdays at 8/7 starting January 15 followed by the new season of Gordon Ramsay's "Hell's Kitchen".

FOX has announced previously that long running action drama series "24" will be back on television for January 11 and 12 premiere, consisting of two-hour premiere for each date.

Meanwhile, FOX's new drama series like "Lie to Me" and "Dollhouse" will be debuted early next year. "Lie to Me" is premiered on January 21, while Joss Whedon's highly anticipated action thriller "Dollhouse" is set to air on February 13, starring Eliza Dushku.
