Live from New York, senator John McCain will appear on sketch show 'Saturday Night Live' tonight, November 1.

AceShowbiz - Sarah Palin has earned her slot and it's time for John McCain to invade "Saturday Night Live". Three days before the election, the Republican candidate will do a last minute measure to stack up some votes with an appearance on the sketch show that popularized his running mate, Palin through an impersonation by comedian Tina Fey.
McCain's campaign team confirmed that he will make a guest appearance on the show tonight, November 1 although no other details have been shared. The episode will be hosted by Ben Affleck and present David Cook as musical guest.
This would not be the first time that McCain shows up on "SNL", for in 2002 he hosted an episode mocking Barbra Streisand's advocacy by performing a medley of her songs. He made another one in May this year after he was elected as the Republican nominee, joking about himself and saying "I ask you, what should we be looking for in our next president? Certainly, someone who is very, very, very old."
During the weeks leading to this year's election, he has been impersonated by "SNL" regular Darrell Hammond in a number of sketches.
