The chance of 's character, Mutt Williams in "", to be the center of attention in future "Indiana Jones" movie is getting grimmer by the seconds. On the heels of George Lucas' rejection on the idea, also dished out any possibility of Indy passing the torch to his son.

Throwing cold water to the speculation when talking to Moviefone in support of "Skull" DVD release, Ford gave out clarification on where "" won't go near. "No, that's never been [the idea]," he spoke of the possible passing of Indy's fedora. "As George has famously said, we'd have to call it 'Mutt Jones: The Search for Elvis.' [Laughs.] I think it just doesn't work that way. And there's definitely a distinction between passing the fedora and someone picking it up."

Other than slamming the rumor, the 66-year-old confessed that he is still interested in doing another Indy movie if the script is right. "Again, it would have to do with the quality of the script that I read, if and when we decide to go forward," he said. Meanwhile, on the idea that in the next film Indy will be facing the Russians, he commented, "It made perfect sense."

"It was very much consistent with that ambition I had from the very beginning when we talked about acknowledging the passage of time between the last film and the current one. We always expected that we would acknowledge and take advantage of the storytelling opportunities of Indiana Jones' age. So we pursued that ... Sorry, I lost track of the question -- I'm going Palin on you [laughs]."

In "the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull", Indy falls in another adventure when he is asked by Mutt to solve a letter sent by his mother and Indy's former lover, Marion Ravenwood. It turns out that the encoded message leads them to the finding of the Crystal Skull of Akator which is also being searched by Russian agents. Since its debut, the flick has collected nearly $784 million worldwide. The DVD and Blu-ray Disc of the flick has been available in stores since October 14.
