The Mexican American actress will definitely play the role as Alec Baldwin's love interest for two episodes.

AceShowbiz - Best Actress Oscar nominee, Salma Hayek, has given her confirmation saying that she is delightful in being a part of the Tina Fey's comedy "30 Rock". Hayek's involvement in the series is playing the role as Alec Baldwin's new love interest.
As Hayek says, "I have been a fan of Tina's talent, both as an actress and a writer, since working with her years ago on SNL." She added, " I am so excited to be part of such an intelligent, funny show, as well as working with the brilliant Alec Baldwin and the rest of the cast of '30 Rock'."
NBC, the American TV network that broadcasts the series, hasn't set an air date for Hayek's appearances but the star has signed for two episodes of "30 Rock" new season as Elisa, former GE exec Jack Donaghy's a new love interest, played by Baldwin. Jack's previous love interests have been played by Edie Falco and Emily Mortimer.
Fey, creator, executive producer and star of "30 Rock" says, "Salma is smart, funny and gorgeous, I think she'll be a great, strong presence opposite Jack Donaghy."
Almost the same statement is given by Executive Vice President, NBC Entertainment Teri Weinberg who said, "Salma is truly a gifted talent and an incredible force in our industry. I've had the privilege of working with her and I can't wait to see what comedic sparks fly with our brilliant '30 Rock' cast."
In addition, Hayek is already seen with Baldwin in a scene for "30 Rock" at Cadman Plaza Park, Brooklyn Heights, New York, on October 10. In the scene, Baldwin's character visits Hayek's character's family picnic.
The "30 Rock" third season is set to air on October 30. The premiere will present Emmy winner Megan Mullally as a guest-star and followed by Oprah Winfrey's guest spot in the following week. Jennifer Aniston will also appear later in the season.
