Claiming to have not enough time, Sugababes refuse to enter recording room with Timbaland for a new song.

AceShowbiz - British girl band Sugababes turn down an offer from Timbaland to record a new music with him. "He approached us while we were making our last album, but we'd literally just finished it and we had no time left," Amelle Berrabah says.

However, Berrabah reveals that they hope to follow up the canceled collaboration for their next project. "Maybe next year we'll make it happen. I'd absolutely love to work with him." Previously, Berrabah also ruled out collaborating with Tom Jones, calling him "a rude old man." The band hoped to meet the star at the recent Q Awards in London, but were disappointed after he snubbed them.

Sugababes' forthcoming studio effort is called "Catfights and Spotlights". Planned to come out on October 20, the record carries sounds that they describe as "funkier" music by Orson's lead singer Jason Pebworth, who has worked with the group for the album.
