Celebrity

Earning the predicate, the actress is featured on the cover of the magazine's November 2008 issue, to mark its 75th anniversary, dressing in a racier version of Bill Clinton's 2000 cover.

AceShowbiz - Halle Berry is named "Sexiest Woman Alive" by men's magazine Esquire, joining a number of famous figures, including Scarlett Johansson, who won the same title in November 2006 and Charlize Theron, who was the winner of 2007. Celebrating her new attached title, the publication has posted on its website an article that shows her posing in a parody of a 2000 cover photograph of Bill Clinton and features her own acceptance speech.

Covering Esquire's November 2008 issue, on newsstands later this month, Halle is photographed sitting on a chair with both of her legs widely opened. She dons a black bra under a black suit jacket and is seen wearing a blue tie.

Speaking about her new title of "Sexiest Woman Alive", she jokingly wrote in an article posted Tuesday, October 7 on the magazine's official website, "I've been in the business for more than twenty years, and you decide now, at this particular time, that I'm the sexiest woman alive? Come on. I mean, you couldn't go with the Bond-girl year? You didn't like the orange bikini? I liked the orange bikini"

"Does being the sexiest woman alive imply that I know a thing or two about what's sexy and, possibly, about sex itself? I'm not sure, but here's what I do know: I know damned well I'm sexier now than I used to be," she went on writing, adding "Well, I don't know exactly what it means but being 42 and having just had a baby, I think I'll take it."

In related news, Halle and her model boyfriend Gabriel Aubry reportedly have been thinking to have more children in addition to their baby girl Nahla Ariela Aubry. "Yeah, we are working on that!" the hunk told the press while attending the Elle magazine 15th Annual Women in Hollywood tribute in Beverly Hills Monday, October 6. Though so, he said he and Halle are in no rush to walk down the aisle, saying "We have no plans for marriage. We are more married than ever, really."
