Movie

Words are Paul Andrew Williams, the man behind horror comedy movie 'The Cottage', may be taking Danny Boyle's place as the director of '28 Months Later'.

AceShowbiz - "28 Months Later" has allegedly found its director. Recently, Joblo has reported that the director of the horror thriller sequel is going to be Paul Andrew Williams, who is the director of a 2008 comedy horror movie, "The Cottage".

Williams' directing rumor comes in contrary to the earlier speculation that "28 Days Later" director Danny Boyle will return to undergo the new project. However, the truth on whether Paul Andrew Williams has been attached to undergo "28 Months Later" still remains a big question to date.

During an interview with SlashFilm back in 2007, Boyle has stated that the setting for "28 Months Later" will be in Russia, instead of France. "It's to do with Russia actually. It's to do with that part of the world. NOT FRANCE. The second film hints that it gets to France eventually, and wipes out the French. But this third idea is actually more to do with Russia, but that's actually all I can say," said Boyle.

Several sources say that "28 Months Later" will be released next year, with the exception of mentioning exact date and month. In the meantime, "28 Days Later" sequel, "28 Weeks Later..", has obtained as much as $28.6 million nationwide and $64.2 million worldwide.
