AceShowbiz - Paying her good friend DJ AM a visit following his hospital release last week after he was involved in plane crash on September 19, Nicky Hilton confirms he's in good condition. "He looks just fine," the hotel heiress and socialite said in a statement despite the fact that he's been treated for second and third degree burns to his upper body.
Telling US Weekly Wednesday, October 1 at the Building a Greater LA benefit for Habitat for Humanity that she visited the DJ two days ago, Nicky testified, "considering the circumstances, he is doing really well." She added, "I think he has so many friends and family that have kept him going through this. It is just a horrible, horrible situation. He has so many people that love him. There is a lot of love. Tons of love."
On Tuesday, September 30, Nicky's sister Paris Hilton stopped by Ryan Seacrest's radio show and spoke about AM, telling the host she's been exchanging text messages with him. She said AM told her "how scary" the crash was and that he felt "just so lucky to be alive." Paris went on telling Seacrest, "With all the love and support coming in, it really means a lot. He's such a good person. I feel like God really did save him [that day]."
AM himself has yet issued a single word on the crash and his condition. He was photographed sporting a bandage on the right side of his neck and with little visible damage to his face when attending the memorial service of the plane crash victim, Chris Baker, Monday, September 29 in Hollywood.
