The singer who has been released from hospital is expected to resume with the tour on Saturday, October 4 in North Carolina.

AceShowbiz - Janet Jackson has been discharged from the hospital, just two hours after she was admitted on Monday, September 29, the day she was supposed to hold a concert in Montreal. Recuperating from the illness which has not been disclosed, she has canceled two more shows that are scheduled for this week.

The show in Boston tonight (October 1) is scrapped, so is the next day's gig in Philadelphia. No new dates have been introduced for the postponed shows but it is known that she will resume the performing duty as part of "Rock Witchu" tour on Saturday, October 4 when she is scheduled to appear in Greensboro, N.C.

Janet's "Rock Witchu" tour is a production that includes a demanding 38-song set list and more than a handful of costume changes. The tour started to roll on September 10 in Vancouver, British Columbia and now there are at least thirteen remaining dates for the roadshow, including the postponed gig.

She suddenly fell ill during a sound check and had to be rushed to hospital before showtime, he rep announced on Monday. She checked in to Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal and was released a couple of hours later, her spokeswoman confirmed later on.
