AceShowbiz - Having a number of contractual obligation to be completed, Selena Gomez is taking break from her hectic schedule to attend the result show first episode of "Dancing with the Stars" Wednesday, September 24. She, as reported by E! News, made a front-row appearance during the event, where her rumored lover Nick Jonas and his band Jonas Brothers performed. She even was seen giving the brothers a standing ovation during their performance.
Selena's attendance on the first episode of the show's season seven thus fueled further rumors that she and Nick are lovers. Nevertheless, representatives for ABC quickly set the record straight on that matter, confirming she was there to show some support for fellow Disney actor Cody Linley.
Misty May-Treanor, which recently made a guest stint on Selena's comedy-family-fantasy series "Wizards of Waverly Place," was one of the contestants on the show. Selena herself has made a decision on who she's going to vote on "DWTS", telling the press she would be "voting nonstop" for her pal Kim Kardashian.
Having just had her straight-to-DVD movie "Another Cinderella Story" released, Selena has also lent her voice in The 20th Century Fox's "Horton Hears a Who!" which was out in March 2008.
