Tyler Perry is back putting on his famous character, Mabel 'Madea' Simmons, when her trouble-making act leads her straight to be locked up behind bars.

AceShowbiz - Tyler Perry has let fans get a sneak peek into his forthcoming comedy "Madea Goes to Jail" though a new teaser trailer. Less than a minute long, the video focuses on the arrest of Mabel "Madea" Simmons by a band of police. Though surrounded by the authorities from land and air, she still makes the effort hard for them.

Inspired by Perry's play of the same name, "Goes to Jail" focuses its story on Madea whose trouble-making act puts her behind bars. This time, she will come to the rescue of Candy, a fellow inmate who becomes the subject of bully by a large woman named Big Sal. Starring Perry as Madea, the film also stars Keshia Knight Pulliam, Vanessa Ferlito, Sofia Vergara, Derek Luke, Keke Palmer and others.

"Goes to Jail" is the second Madea's film after "Madea's Family Reunion". The Lionsgate Films comedy flick is also directed/co-produced/penned by Perry. It has been set to be outed on February 20, 2009.
