She issued a statement Monday, September 22 about her on-off husband's jet crash, claiming the tragic incident would change her and Travis' lives forever.

AceShowbiz - Breaking her silence over the tragic plane crash that her on-off husband Travis Barker and his pal DJ AM experienced, Shanna Moakler said in a statement Monday, September 22, "Our lives will be changed forever." She, moreover, also expressed her gratitude over the support people have given to both men and said she's saddened by the death of other victims.

"There are not enough words to express how thankful we are for the outpouring of love and support we have received during this very difficult time," her statement read. "We can only ask for prayers as we heal and mourn the loss of our dear friends who we considered part of our family. Our lives will be changed forever."

Shanna and Travis got married in October 2004. The couple have been on-and-off for the past few years. They are parents to son Landon Asher Barker and daughter Alabama Luella Barker.

Shanna rushed to the Doctors' Hospital in Augusta, where Travis and AM are being treated for second- and third-degree burns, soon following the much reported plane crash to be by his side. "When she got the call, she was in shock. She was very upset. It was devastating for her. But she knew she had to keep it together for Travis, her kids and her family," a source close to Shanna was quoted as saying. "She's there trying to lift his spirits. She's there for him and will be there for him as long as it takes. She loves him."

Shanna was seen crying as she left the hospital on Monday, September 22. On the same day, AM's former girlfriend Mandy Moore was also seen visiting him in the hospital.
