Jason simply told the magazine, Swank was "experiencing some discomfort and went to see her doctor, who prescribed an immediate course of action that included a brief hospitalization to remove a small, benign growth." Jason went on revealing, "her condition has been resolved and there are no continuing health issues, with the exception of some short-term rest and recuperation."

Swank recently completed the filming of the drama biography "Amelia". After that she was seen spending most of her time with fellow A-list celebrities in New York during Fashion Week before then returned to Los Angeles.

An Oscar-winning actress, Swank is billed to play the lead role in "Amelia," which is slated for an October 23, 2009 release date. Her co-stars in the big screen movie among others are Ewan McGregor, Richard Gere, and Virginia Madsen.
