'Nip/Tuck' Stars Seeking for Salary Raises

Julian McMahon, Dylan Walsh and other cast ensemble of the medical drama series are looking to double up their paycheck intake.

AceShowbiz - As "Nip/Tuck" is heading to its sixth and final season, the cast regulars on the FX medical drama series fall in a serious negotiation with the producers for weeks. According to reports, the series' stars, including Julian McMahon, Dylan Walsh, Joely Richardson, Kelly Carlson and Roma Maffia, are looking to get a substantial raise from their current salary.

Through the negotiations, McMahon and Dylan Walsh are expecting to double up their paycheck from $125,000 per episode to $250,000, while Richardson and the others quest to get raises on their incomes. The stars ground their reason on the difficulty they may be facing in landing new gigs in the next few years due to the fact that the series will be aired until 2011.

"Nip/Tuck" is an Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning television drama resolving around the life of two plastic surgeons, Christian Troy and Sean McNamara. It has been said that part two of season five which consists of the remaining 8 episodes is slated to be broadcast in November 2008, while season six will take off in August 2009. Production on the new season has been kicked off on Monday, September 15.
