Young Jeezy bounces back to the scene with 'The Recession', an album in expression of his thoughts in the last three years.

AceShowbiz - Initially aiming to be the person behind the desk, Young Jeezy could not deny the charm of his stage persona. The rapper who started off as the CEO of Corporate Thugz Entertainment, has pocketed two solo studio albums under his belt and is now going on the third one. After releasing "The Inspiration" in 2006, Jeezy is back three years later to present "The Recession" on September 2.

"Put On", the album's first single that feature Kanye West, has particularly reached a level of success he wanted. It has peaked at number 12 on Billboard Hot 100 chart. "I reached out to Kanye because my element of it was so street, I wanted to see how he felt, what he felt 'putting on' was. And he went in a totally different direction; he felt like 'putting on' was putting on his homies," he explained.

Jeezy has just also released the second promotional single "Vacation" where he goes solo. Noting that the song is a different piece from what he had done before, Jeezy said, "I need one, no one ever seen Jeezy have fun."

Furthermore, on the album he also listed Nas to take on a political-charged track called "My President". He shared, "There's a lot of different elements in that song; a lot of different things that are going on - it has a lot to do with the movement, it has a lot to do with Barack (Obama), it has a lot to do with anybody that believes in themselves to go and stand in front of anybody and say this is what I believe in."

Jeezy is registered to vote and encourages all eligible ones to participate also. "Because you're one vote could have made that change; that one vote could be that vote; it could be my vote, you never know; I'm going to try for it though," he continued.
