The inspiration behind the song is unmistakably, pro tennis player Venus Williams. "Venus' determination and mental strength inspires me!," said Jean. "Much like Isis, her strength should be celebrated."

The song which is available for streaming on Jean's official site, has been premiered on Monday, August 25, the first day of the tournament that is held in Queens, New York. It will also be made Williams' theme song throughout her stint in the competition that winds down on September 7.

Commenting on her being inspiration of the song, Williams released a statement saying, "I have been a fan of Wyclef's for many years, from his work with the Fugees to his success as a solo artist. He's a fantastic writer, singer, producer and performer whose music crosses genres and touches people's lives. I am specially impressed by Wyclef's dedication to humanitarian causes and his strong sense of character."

The two celebrities met when they were paired for "Iconoclasts", a Sundance Channel original TV series that enters its 4th season. "I was so happy to meet Wyclef and work with him on our 'Iconoclasts' episode but not even in my wildest imagination, did I expect that such a beautiful song would be one of the outcomes from meeting Wyclef. He is an amazing human being and it is truly an honor for me to be recognized in such a wonderful way by such a gifted musician and exceptional person." Their episode will be premiered on November 13 at 10 P.M. ET/PT.

Williams recently contributed a gold medal for USA for the women's double match with sister Serena Williams at the Beijing Olympics.
