Pink Festivity for 'House Bunny' L.A. Premiere

Columbia Pictures have turned Mann's Village Theatre pink for a day when they premiered their forthcoming comedy on August 20.

AceShowbiz - Contrary to the earlier rumor suggesting that "The House Bunny" will celebrate is L.A. premiere to the Playboy mansion, Columbia Pictures brought the special screening event to L.A. at Mann's Village Theatre in Westwood on Wednesday, August 20. Distinguishing this event from the previous New York premiere, it was highlighted with a pink carpet.

Like the earlier premiere event, this one was also attended by the female stars of the comedy film, including Anna Faris, Katharine McPhee, Rumer Willis and Emma Stone, with the appearance of another cast ensemble, Colin Hanks. Coming also to the premiere were Rumer's family which consists of Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, Bruce Willis and his girlfriend Emma Heming.

Directed by Fred Wolf from the script by Karen McCullah Lutz and Kirsten Smith, "House Bunny" centers on Shelley Darlington, a Playboy Bunny kicked out from the Playboy mansion due to her age. Losing a place to stay, she looks for a new shelter and finds herself among the Zeta Alpha Zeta sorority girls who are socially clueless. When the girls are threatened to lose their house, Shelley takes matter into her hands and teaches the girls about makeup and men. The film will hit the theaters on August 22.
