Jonas Brothers Grab Three Titles at Billboard Hot 200 Chart

Jonas Brothers dominate Billboard Hot 200 chart with their new album 'A Little Bit Longer', 2007 self-titled LP, and 'Camp Rock' soundtrack.

AceShowbiz - Following Nielsen SoundScan prediction, saying that Jonas Brothers will score their first number one at Billboard Hot 200 chart with "A Little Bit Longer", the boy band trio have indeed landed the third studio set at the top spot this week. Their album, which sold a total of 200,000 units on its first day of release, now bows with a remarkable 525,000 copies. Another record set by the band is that they have also rounded at number eight with soundtrack album of "Camp Rock" with 50,000 copies on sale. On top of that, the boys' 2007 self-titled effort also rises to number ten at the same chart after selling another 31,000 units.

This all then make their latest set as the third-highest opening week of the year 2008, just behind Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter III", which sold over 1,006,000 copies and Coldplay's "Viva La Vida" which selling point is 721,000. They also become the second sibling group to top the chart since Bee Gees reigned supreme in the 1970s.

Continuing at number two at Billboard Hot 200 is "Mamma Mia!" soundtrack, which features ABBA and moves another 110,000 copies. Meanwhile, Kid Rock has successfully pushed up his "Rock N Roll Jesus" to number three with 101,000 selling point.

Miley Cyrus' "Breakout" slips two places from number two last week to number four with 85,000 copies scanned. Falling from number three to number five with another 67,000 sold is Sugarland's "Love on the Inside".

Lingering at number six is Lil Wayne's sixth studio album "Tha Charter III" while "Viva La Vida" from Coldplay notches at number seven. Rihanna's "Good Girl Gone Bad" survives at number nine despite a declining point to 42,000 copies.
