American pop quintet The Pussycat Dolls have decided to hold back their upcoming sophomore studio album 'Doll Domination' for another week.

AceShowbiz - The Pussycat Dolls have reportedly shelved their upcoming set "Doll Domination". Nicole Scherzinger, Melody Thornton, Jessica Sutta, Ashley Roberts, and Kimberly Wyatt will now release their second studio album on September 23, just a week after its original schedule date.

There is no further explanation about the reason of the release delay. Their label Interscope and management team give no comment yet. With their new release schedule, The Pussycat Dolls' album will now compete with Plain White T's' forthcoming fifth set "Big Bad World" and Demi Lovato's upcoming debut "Don't Forget".

Their album is previously rumored to have Amy Winehouse vocals as they believe in her appeal to make hit singles. Another report says that beside Amy, The Pussycat Dolls also eye to make a collaboration with troubled singer Britney Spears, much for their huge admiration for her.

The girl group have invited Kim Kardashian for a performance in Las Vegas last weekend. The show was initiated by Robin Antin, the creator and choreographer of the group. Furthermore, the performance has been taped by Kim's film crews for her reality show entitled "Keeping Up With the Kardashian". Commenting on their collaboration, Kim shortly said, "It went amazingly well and was the best experience ever!"
