Regardless the disappointing review for her debut album, Scarlett Johansson has recently revealed her plan to work on another album.

AceShowbiz - Despite the harsh critic received for her debut album, actress Scarlett Johansson is planning on recording new tracks for her second album which has no title yet. She announces her plan about three months after her debut album "Anywhere I Lay My Head" was released in mid-May.

Scarlett admits that she looks forward to a chance of exploring her musical talent on another album. However, she says that she has no way to rush as she plans on another career path by stepping behind the camera. In an interview, she says, "I would love to do another album. Right now, though, I'd like to focus on developing something to direct."

Scarlett's first album has taken its share of knocks. One critic sarcastically marveled over her, saying that though she is a professional actress who has acted in many big screens, her voice is, on the contrary, so completely free of expression.

With the critic that still hangs around, her announcement to release another album is said to be premature. Some even speculate that she will cancel the project and focus more on her acting career. Regardless the disappointing response, Scarlett says that she is excited of working with various talented musicians. During an interview, she says, "It was fantastic to do that album. Not only live with that music that I love everyday, but I just worked with such wonderful musicians who are so talented."
