Showing off her curvy figure by posing in a bikini for this week issue of Hello! magazine, she however openly admitted that she's feeling insecure with her body.

AceShowbiz - Mothering one daughter from a failed relationship, Geri Halliwell proves she still has what it takes. The so-called Ginger Spice shows off her toned figure in a bikini for the cover of this week issue of British Hello! magazine.
Posing in a white colored two-pieces bikini, the singer looks toned and relaxed during photo shoot on a holiday in Mexico. The magazine cover marks her first ever bikini photo shoot in seven years.
Despite her enviable physique, Geri told the magazine she's feeling insecure about her body. She said, "People think I'm really confident but I do get self-conscious like many women about stripping off in public. I haven't been willingly photographed in a bikini for seven years - and I don't think I'll do it again."
On getting back in shape after gaining more weight following the completion of her world tour with all-girl group Spice Girls, Geri admitted "I did strive to have my most perfect body and, in moments when I lack confidence, that voice is always there waiting to tell me, 'You are not good enough, do better,' but I'm more conscious of it."
"It used to be the loudest voice in my head but now I just tell it, 'Shut up...'" she stated. "I don't have a strict diet anymore. I eat cake, crisps, sugar-free chocolate and chips if I want to. I can't be bothered to follow a grueling food plan. I'm a petite person and if I eat relatively healthily I'll stay that way. It's simple really. When I feel under pressure, I do eat cake but I don't punish myself for that like I used to. I just eat more healthily the next day."
The new issue of Hello! magazine that features Geri on its cover won't hit the newsstands until Wednesday, August 13 but fear not for a peek of her shoot can be seen on Daily Mail.
