AceShowbiz - Living under the media microscope due to her alleged affair with New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez, Madonna reportedly has received a $500,000 charity donation from the star to benefit her Raising Malawi foundation. This reluctantly fuels further rumors on them having an affair.
The New York Daily News is informed by a source, "They've asked him for a million dollars, and I hear he's agreed to give at least $500,000." Neither Rodriguez's representative nor Raising Malawi would confirm on the reported donation.
Rodriguez indeed is no stranger to giving donation. Being dubbed as the highest-paid player in the sport with a 10-year $275 million contract, he previously has donated $3.9 million to the University of Miami to help build a baseball stadium. Showing his generous side, he didn't even want his name on it.
He, in the meantime, has become the subject of media scrutiny due to his alleged affair with Madonna. It was rumor on that matter that prompted his wife Cynthia Rodriguez to file for divorce early last month, alleging through her attorney that her estranged husband did have an "affair of the heart" with the pop star.
"Without talking about specifics of sexual conduct, there's no question," Cynthia's attorney, Earle Lilly, told US Weekly. "No one very often has pictures of the actual sex itself."
Madonna, on the other way around, tried to put the brake on the affair rumors, making several public appearances with husband Guy Ritchie.
