Shwayze, 'the only black kid in Malibu', changes his destiny from trailer park to a record deal with mere guts and talents.

AceShowbiz - Buzzin' is the perfect word to describe Shwayze. Being the protege of prominent musician Cisco Adler, the rapper makes his name through two successful singles at relatively the same time. By August 2008, two tracks from his upcoming and self-titled debut album have graced the Billboard Hot 200 chart, building pavement to a promising career start.

Shwayze first introduced himself and his distinct style of music through the single "Buzzin'" in May. The single surprisingly generated lots of good response from fans, mainly due to its unique combination of rap and melodic verse, the latter which is supplied by Adler. The alternative hip-hop sound soon became popular among music lovers, especially with the addition of "Corona and Lime".

A 22-year-old rapper coming from Malibu, Shwayze self-proclaimed to be the only black kid in the rich community although he literally lived in a trailer park. Out from the view, he relied on sheer chance while watching a Whitestarr concert and took the stage to show who he got. From a trailer park to a recording deal, he showed that determination can bring someone to a better life.

Not only his first album is coming out on August 12, Shwayze has also garnered a deal with MTV for a reality show aptly titled "Buzzin'". Together with Adler, hi tour manager Warren Gumpel and Suretone Records head Jordan Schur, Shwayze provide an inside look to his journey to stardom. "Buzzin'" has been premiered on MTV on July 23.
