The singers received their Hollywood Walk of Fame stars, the 2,367th star, in a ceremony held on Hollywood Boulevard Monday, August 4.

AceShowbiz - Having been working in the industry for years, it was not until Monday, August 4 that Brooks & Dunn received their stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The country music duo received the 2,367th star on Hollywood Boulevard in a ceremony attended by talk show host Phil McGraw and his wife, Robin, who described themselves as avid fans of the singers.

"I've had the pleasure of knowing these guys really well for a number of years now," McGraw said when referring to the recording artists. "It is truly an honor for me to be a part of this."

Commenting about the honor, Kix Brooks said he was amazed "[to] see Morgan Freeman's name right next to us." As for his part, Ronnie Dunn commented, "There are hundreds of people that should be in the star with us. We're lucky to be here."

Brooks then went on adding, "I think people forget that Ronnie and I have dedicated our lives to music because originally we're such huge fans. To have your name on a star on Hollywood [Boulevard] seems so out of reach."

Brooks and Dunn have been garnering dozens of awards since they first kicked off their singing career in the early 1990s. They have sold more than 30 million albums and amassed more than 20 number one hits.
