'Gossip Girl' Wins Six Teen Choice TV Awards

Full winners of the 2008 Teen Choice Awards have been announced Sunday, August 3 and CW's "Gossip Girl" was a big winner in TV categories with 6 nods.

AceShowbiz - The full winners from all categories, including TV, movie, and music, of the 2008 Teen Choice Awards have been unveiled Sunday, August 3. Dominating the TV nominations with a total of 14 nods, CW's teen drama "Gossip Girl" leads the pack, winning 6 awards all at once. In addition to winning the Choice TV Show Drama award, the series also seizes the Choice TV Breakout Show award.

Its cast, meanwhile, also bring home several awards. Blake Lively is a double winner, taking home the awards for both Choice TV Actress Drama and Choice TV Breakout Star Female categories. The Choice TV Breakout Star Male is given to Chace Crawford. Ed Westwick wins the Choice TV Villain award, thanks to his role of Chuck Bass.

Some other winners in the TV categories include Chad Michael Murray of "One Tree Hill" who's named Choice TV Actor Drama and Hayden Panettiere of "Heroes" who brings home the Choice TV Actress Action Adventure award.

The awards event, presented annually by FOX (United States) and Global TV (Canada), also witnesses Steve Carell of "The Office" nabbing the Choice TV Actor Comedy nod and Miley Cyrus earning the Choice TV Actress Comedy award. "American Idol" crooner David Cook is also a winner, seizing the Choice TV Male Reality/Variety Star award and Lauren Conrad of "The Hills" is just the other winner, being named Choice TV Female Reality/Variety Star.

The 2008 Teen Choice Awards, which is the 10th, will be held at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California and broadcast by FOX at 8 P.M. PST on August 4. Cyrus, in addition to her hosting duty, has been booked to perform her new single "7 Things". Mariah Carey is scheduled to perform as well, singing her latest single "I'll Be Lovin' You Long Time."

With such famous celebs as Shia LaBeouf, Rachel Bilson, David Archuleta, Jordin Sparks, LL Cool J, and Demi Lovato to join the event, the show will sure be a star studded feast.
