The end of their months long custody battle sees Spears agreed to increase his child support from $15,000 to $20,000 a month and pay for his $250,000 legal fees.

AceShowbiz - The long and tough custody battle of Britney Spears and Kevin Federline has come to an end. A judge signed the former couple's custody settlement Friday, July 25, ending the months long saga of the twosome over custody issues.

In a deal reached last week, it was ruled that K-Fed retained sole custody of their young sons Sean Preston and Jayden James with Spears was granted two visits and one overnight per week plus an additional sleepover by year's end. Her attorney said the she's "thrilled" to have more time with her kids who have become her motivation to get back on track.

Under the terms of the settlement filed Friday in L.A. County Superior Court, Spears agreed to increase Federline's child support from $15,000 to $20,000 a month. She will as well pay off his lawyer's fees reportedly worth $250,000.

Per the legal documents, the child support increase went into effect on July 15, and that Spears' father Jamie who remains in legal control of her affairs until a July 31 hearing, approved of the settlement terms. He signed off on the agreement on Spears' behalf.

A hearing on the conservatorship is scheduled for Thursday, July 31.
