AceShowbiz - There's no truth to rumors that say Jessica Simpson and her former husband Nick Lachey have sex tape which will soon be leaked. Earlier speculation on the existence of the footage has been dismissed by her representative.
Earlier this week, talk was heating up that a sex tape featuring Simpson and Lachey engaged in a number of sex acts was being shopped around. The tape was claimed to have been obtained by the people who leaked Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee's famous sex video.
The people reportedly demanded an undisclosed amount of money from Simpson should she want the tape to remain private. The actress-singer herself was feeling "horrified her name and sex tape are being mentioned in the same sentence. She's always been a girl of high morals and principles."
Simpson's representative, however, dismissed the report, insisted there's "no truth" to the story and no such tape exists.
Amidst rumors of her sex tape, Jessica in fact prefers to keep herself busy as she has some major projects in the pipeline. She was seen leaving the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Manhattan on Thursday, July 24, making her way to the Steiner Studios in Brooklyn for an ad shoot with Macy's department stores. She, moreover, also has signed a deal to launch a full line of dresses slated to hit the department and specialty stores in spring 2009.
