The band through their vocalist, Chris Martin have revealed a surprising statement stating that they would love to do a duet with the teen pop star in the future.

AceShowbiz - An interesting fact was shouted by Coldplay's frontman Chris Martin who revealed to the press that he is a fan of teen pop star Miley Cyrus and would love to collaborate with her. Confirming his admiration to the teen idol Chris said, "I like Miley Cyrus... I like the TV show."
Moreover, the rock singer also stated that he and his band would like to perform on-stage together with Miley sometime in the future. "I'd do it. Anyone we like or respect, no matter how different they may be, we would play with," Chris said.
Not only that, Chris also revealed that Miley's different approach on her music is what makes him interested on her. He said, "She's doing something quite different... I just think she seems to have a sweet character."
Coldplay themselves are currently busy staging their North America tour in support of their latest LP "Viva la Vida", that was released on June 12. Their North American leg itself has just started on June 13 in L.A.
Meanwhile, Miley herself is preparing to release her new album "Breakout" which is scheduled to hit the stores on July 22. Promoting her new LP, the singer has already released her first single "7 Things" on June 17 via iTunes.
