Jimi Hendrix's Music Goes to Guitar Hero

Music fans and also game freaks will now have the chance to enjoy the legendary guitarist's music on the new installment of the popular music game.

AceShowbiz - Guitar legend Jimi Hendrix's music are finally being made available on famous music game "Guitar Hero". This happened after the company that owned the rights for all of Hendrix's music Experience Hendrix has agreed to release the legend's music for the new installment of the famous game "Guitar Hero: World Tour", which will be dropped on October 27.

Both representatives from Hendrix and the game producers have confirmed the news to the press. "Guitar Hero really was on the ball and and they were biting at the bit to get this out this year, so, we just accommodated them, " Janie Hendrix representing Experince Hendrix explained. "Jimi was a kid at heart - he definitely would have played these games." Meanwhile, a spokesperson from the game's publiser, Aaron Grant told AP, "It's the first time Hendrix's likeness will be showcased in the game."

Moreover AP also confirmed that there will be two songs that will be inducted to "Guitar Hero: World Tour". Those tracks are "The Wind Cries Mary" and a live version of "Purple Haze," that was recorded during Hendrix gig at the San Diego Sports Arena in 1969. Not only that, Grant also added that in the future other songs from the late guitar virtuoso will also be released as a downloadable content for the game.

In other news, earlier this week it was reported that Hendrix's special guitar that he burnt on stage at his concert in Astoria, London in 1967 has gone for an auction in September. The press predicted the the historic Fender Stratocaster guitar would be sold for at least 500,000 poundsterling.
