Tamia to Record Her First Live Album

The R 'n' B singer has confirmed that she will be dropping her first live LP, that will be recorded during her U.S. tour.

AceShowbiz - After dropping a compilation album titled "Between Friends/A Gift Between Friends", singer Tamia is set to release another music project soon. Reports said that the singer will be spawning a live album, that will be taken from one of her upcoming U.S. tours.

The recording for the upcoming live set will be done on her gig in Washington D.C on August 10. Unfortunately, there are still no information yet on when will the live album be released. The idea for the live album itself has been hinted by Tamia on her recent interview with Thatgrapejuice.net which was done in May.

The R 'n' B singer's U.S. leg itself will be started on July 26, where she will be headlining the 2008 Soul Summer Series alongside Brian McKnight. On her concerts the singer reportedly will be performing songs from her latest studio LP "Between Friends", dropped in 2006.

The singer's upcoming live record will be her first one through out her music career, which started in 1998 with the release of her self-titled debut album. Until this year the singer has already dropped three studio records and one compilation set.
