Feeling sorry and responsible for crashing a parked car belonged to his neighbor, the actor left an apologetic note for its owner and offered to pay for the damage with his insurance.

AceShowbiz - Hit-and-run is a no for Colin Farrell. The Irish actor shows his responsible side, leaving an apologetic note with his contact information on a vehicle he hit with his car in a Hollywood parking lot.

Details chronicling the unfortunate were not disclosed. It's been claimed though that Farrell hit the back of the car while he was behind the wheel of his Ford Bronco.

TMZ which was the first to report the incident posted a pic of the damaged car and a copy of the handwritten note Farrell apparently left on the vehicle, reportedly belonged to his neighbor in Santa Monica.

The note reads, "Did a bad thing. Deepest apologies. Of course my insurance will cover it. Mobile phone number 310-... Again, regrets. Colin Farrell."

Notwithstanding with the unfortunate, Farrell is reported to have been planning to move to Los Angeles permanently to spend more time with his new girlfriend, English novelist Emma Forrest. The pair, who according to reports have been dating since the beginning of the year, went public with their romance late last month after they were spotted holding hands at the Los Angeles premiere of German film "The Edge of Heaven."
