Snoop Dogg Claims Dr. Dre's New LP Is Done

The controversial rapper stated to the press that the famous producer/rapper has already finished on working for "Detox".

AceShowbiz - Snoop Dogg revealed an exciting news to rap music fans as on a recent interview the rapper said to the press that his mentor, Dr. Dre's long awaited record "Detox" has been finished. Revealing the news, Snoop said in a statement, "That record is real, it's coming."

Snoop then said that at first, just like many people, he too has some doubts about the long delayed LP saying, "I was starting to doubt it myself and then I went up in there and he played so much music for me it knocked my head off." Moreover, he added that the new record is worth waiting for stating, "I see what he got them waiting for, it's on and poppin'."

Moreover, Snoop also stated that all the songs for the album are done but Dre is still deciding on which songs he will use on the new album. The controversial rapper reportedly also has a hand on the rapper/producer's new LP as he has also recorded some tracks for "Detox".

Dr. Dre's "Detox" has been one of the records that got delayed for such a long time as it was first scheduled to be outed in 2004. It was said that the postponing of the record was due to Dre's decision to concentrate on producing records for his artists.

Beside Snoop's confirmation, previously there were statements from Dre himself, who told the Los Angeles Time that his upcoming LP will indeed be released and it is being scheduled to drop right after Eminem's new record. According to reports, on "Detox", the successful rapper/producer is working with Snoop and also 50 Cent.
